Women’s Health USA wanted to attract more private practices into their expanding circle of obstetricians, but doctors were dodging dates faster than you could say "appointment".
WHUSA wanted to show practice owners that they meant business - and chose direct mail to do it. Cue problem numero dos: office managers were greeting their mail with a one-way ticket to the bin. The front desk turned into an impenetrable fortress.
Can't really fault them - most direct mail has the allure of a wet napkin. So, we set out to create mailers with a bit of moxie, something even the most mail-weary office manager couldn't just toss aside.
First, we created a card game that spoke their language:
Then we went stealthy with a stethoscope-activated greeting card:
And at the end of it all, we shared a few laughs:
