CT Tax Amnesty

Huh. The State of Connecticut needs to collect a $60M+ bag?

Hold my beer.

In the midst of COVID-19, the State of Connecticut found themselves in a pickle: People hadn’t been paying their taxes.

Sure, the pandemic had been tough on us all, but the pressure was on the commissioner to collect that cash fast — without seeming indifferent to the social climate. Lucky for him, he had us.

With empathy, humor (and a modest-at-best budget) the Pay Taxes, Get Right amnesty campaign collected $12.5 million within the first few weeks of launching. By the end of the run, we successfully claimed over $60 million in back taxes — all without threats.
